These terms apply when you use SnapMap at snapmapped.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. SnapMap is a community tool for photographers, models, and other creative collaborators to find people, projects, and photography locations.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use SnapMap. Keep your sign-in details secure, provide accurate account information, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may restrict or suspend accounts that create safety, security, or legal concerns or repeatedly violate these terms.

Your content and permissions

You keep the rights you have in the photos, profile details, messages, and other material you submit. You give SnapMap permission to host, store, display, resize for technical delivery, and transmit your content as needed to provide the features and audience settings you choose, enforce these terms, and keep the service operating. Public posts, profiles, portfolios, and approved guides may be visible to anyone. Do not upload confidential material to a public area.

Any separate permission request, such as permission to use an image for SnapMap marketing, must be handled as its own choice and does not arise merely from these terms. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share content, including permission from identifiable people when required.

Community and prohibited conduct

Use SnapMap respectfully and lawfully. Do not upload or share content that is illegal, infringes another person’s rights, exploits or harasses someone, depicts or sexualizes a minor, is intimate imagery shared without consent, or is sexually explicit. Do not misrepresent your identity, scrape or misuse other members’ information, interfere with the service, or use SnapMap to facilitate unsafe or unlawful activity. Follow location rules and obtain permission before entering or photographing on private property.

Collaborations and location information

SnapMap helps people discover and discuss creative projects; users arrange and carry out collaborations themselves. Confirm expectations, usage rights, compensation, deliverables, safety boundaries, and location access directly with everyone involved. Location details and community submissions may change or be inaccurate; verify access and conditions before you travel. SnapMap does not guarantee a user’s identity, a listing’s accuracy, or the outcome or safety of a collaboration.

Moderation and service availability

We may review, limit, remove, or decline content and may suspend or close accounts when needed to protect the community, comply with law, or enforce these terms. We may change or discontinue features. We work to keep SnapMap available and secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Third-party services and advertising

SnapMap may link to or rely on services operated by others, including hosting, maps, photo storage, email delivery, and advertising. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Google ads may appear on eligible pages; their presence does not mean SnapMap endorses the advertiser or its products.
